How to Suggest "Arabic Sites" or submit your own home page
All "arabic sites" and home pages in Arab! are maintained by Arabs or provide relevant information about the Arab World
(Culture, Entertainment, Politics, Country profiles)
"Arabic Sites" may be in different languages ( Arabic, Spanish, French...), but anyway they must be related to the Arab World.
Most sites are suggested to us by visitors and are put into categories. We do this to ensure that Arab! provides the best possible and
accurate links concerning the arab world.
It is our aim keeping Arab! simple and making the directory easy to use and navigate.
(Note: We are reviewing each site and home page before adding it in Arab! Pages under construction
or annoucement (coming soon) will not be added into the directory.)
Kindly check whether your home page is already in Arab!
Check by searching for your site by title, or by browsing appropriate categories.
Arab! is classified into 10 main categories:
Arab countries, Arts & Entertainment, Business & Economy, Computing & Networking,
Education & Humanities, Government & Politics, Health & Fitness, News & Media,
Society & Culture, Tourism & Travel.
And each of these categories is made up of sub-categories. New sub-categories are created all the time.
When suggest your site, please take the appropriate category. For instance, if your page provides information about arabic music, the appropriate category will be:
Arts & Entertainment: Music.
You can not find the appropriate category for your page? Suggest a new one.
You will find an option on every page Suggest a new category
for your convenience suggest other suitable categories or let us know to wich category your page should be listed;
we will take care of the right placement.
When you click on "Add URL" in the appropriate category, you will see an online form asking for information about
your site. In the "category" field on the form, you will see the name of the category you have chosen. Please provide, among other information, your site's title, URL, and a brief description.
Is your page personal? Is it about you, your hobbies, family? All personal home pages are placed in the category Society Culture > Personal pages.
Visit the category and suggest yours.
(Note: If your site is already listed in Arab! but you want to change its comments, title, and/or placement, you need to use the
option "Modify URL".)
Of course, we are always checking links but sometimes some server are down or the URL- addresses are altered.
While searching, there is an option Broken? Report It.
We appreciate reporting bad links in order to keep Arab! efficient and clean! Let us build a comprehensive human-reviewed Arab directory.
